Neil qualified BDS (University of Witwatersrand) 1970, Higher Diploma in Dentistry 1978 and the MSc (Dent) Endodontics 1982.
He was admitted to the Specialist Register in 1999, when it was formed by the General Dental Council (United Kingdom).
Neil has had vast experience in all aspects of general dentistry, working as a private family practitioner for many years, prior to limiting his practice to Endodontics. Neil has been a senior lecturer in Endodontics for both undergraduate and postgraduate students at several universities, including the University of Witwatersrand, Stellenbosch and The Royal London Dental Hospital.
In addition to this, he has also lectured extensively and given course presentations both locally and abroad.
(Mrs) Adetoun Soyombo qualified in Periodontology at Eastman Dental Hospital in 1995. With her oral surgery background as well as Periodontics, she has a special interest in all aspects of aesthetic procedures involved in implant therapy.
Mrs Soyombo has been trained in the All-on-4™ technique, more commonly known as ‘Smile in a day’. Mrs Soyombo enjoys training general dentists both in the United Kingdom and Internationally.
Mrs Soyombo started her dental career in Oral Surgery rising to the position of Associate Specialist at Eastman Dental Hospital, London. Her passion for the management of severe forms of periodontal disease and implant dentistry saw her make the switch to the speciality of periodontics. She was then able to perfect her periodontology surgical training in reconstructive soft and hard tissue techniques, with advanced implant treatment including block bone grafting and sinus augmentations.
Mrs Soyombo also has a passion for treating severe gum diseases and peri-implantitis. With the advances made in periodontics, Mrs Soyombo has been able to include genetic testing and risk assessments into her treatment protocol for her patients. Mrs Soyombo also has a passion for treating nervous patients.
Dr Ayodele Soyombo & Dr (Mrs) Adetoun Soyombo have been happily married for 29 years and have been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters
Dr Ayodele Soyombo qualified as a dentist in 1978, obtaining his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. He completed his SpecialistOrthodontic training programme at the New York University College of Dentistry in 1984.
Award-winning during his orthodontic training, Dr Soyombo has worked in Nigeria, USA and Saudi Arabia before gaining his Specialist Registration in the UK and working with his wife, a Specialist in Periodontics. Ayo covers the full spectrum of Orthodontic treatment modalities which include fixed, removable and functional appliances, IncognitoTM Invisalign® and orthognathicsurgical cases.
In keeping with his passion for excellence in his practice of orthodontics, during his training, he was the recipient of various other orthodontic awards. It was not surprising when following completion of his post-graduate orthodontic speciality training, Dr Soyombo was awarded the prestigious Theodore L. Jerrold Memorial Award for achievement. This award is given to the most outstanding orthodontic resident who, through clinical proficiency, clarity of thought, concern for patients’ welfare, and the desire to better the orthodontic profession, most exemplifies the true essence of an orthodontist.
Dr Soyombo’s love of marine fish has seen him install a lovely aquarium in the Milton Keynes practice, which is a favourite amongst patients and staff alike.
